Attn: Concerned Past & Present Homeowners -
Are you in favor of "foreclosure mills" being shut down?
Please take a moment to review this
Homeowners' Petition to encourage state and federal lawmakers, regulators, and other appropriate parties to make urgently needed reforms to, in effect, shut down "foreclosure mills." If you would like to participate in this effort, simply
print out a copy (it is a PDF File), sign it, and return a copy to my address above (and keep a copy for your records).
When the petition is forwarded to appropriate parties, it will include an attachment which provides a complete list (computer print-out) of all the signers. The list will include the abbreviated names and locations of signers (in the following format: "E. Smith, Manchester, NH") This is to help protect signers from mailing list abuses.
There is no cost to sign the petition, but I am suggesting that those who participate in the effort make a one-time contribution to help support the host of ongoing costs for the administration and management of the project. However, please do not hesitate to forward your signed petition without making a contribution. Each signed petition is extremely important.
I will keep you posted (via email notices of each time the petition is sent out and exactly who it is being sent to) regarding the distribution of the petition to targeted recipients in the legislative and regulatory community. You will also receive updated information from time to time regarding key legal developments and crucial information to those directly involved in the foreclosure crisis.
Obviously, the "time is now" regarding the mass-exposure of the unfair, deceptive, and illegal operations of the many foreclosure mills that have irreparably damaged so many homeowners - as evidenced by this
letter from three members of the U.S. Senate.
I hope you'll join forces to help expose and help put these foreclosure mills out of business.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any suggestions or thoughts - especially if you can help get petitions signed in your area.
Regards,

P.S. Also, if you currently dealing with a foreclosure proceeding, please take a moment to review this
Foreclosure Defense Checklist if you want to contest, stop, postpone, defeat, and/or invalidate, a wrongful or illegal foreclosure. Please note that this checklist has been prepared from a "pro-consumer" and not "pro-bank" point of view.
